What we store, and where
Here is the honest map of where each kind of data lives.
| Data | Where it lives | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Pet profiles & records | Your device; optional private iCloud | You (and caregivers you invite) |
| Documents & photos | Your device; optional private iCloud | You (and caregivers you invite) |
| Generated packets (PDF) | Created on device; shared only when you send them | Whoever you send them to |
| App identity | Sign in with Apple | Managed by Apple; we see a private identifier |
| Diagnostics | Aggregated, where enabled | Us, in anonymous form only |
What we cannot see
Because records live on your device and sync through your private iCloud, we do not have a copy of your pet records on our servers. We cannot read your documents, contacts, or notes. When you share a packet, only the people you send it to can see it.
What you control
- iCloud sync: turn it on or off any time.
- Sharing: invite or remove caregivers; stop sharing cleanly.
- Deletion: delete individual records, all app data, or your account from Settings.
For the formal version, see the Privacy Policy.
