Billing, trials, and how Premium works with your Apple ID.
Can I try PetPacket before paying?
Yes. The free tier lets you add one pet, build up to two care packets, and export PDFs — no payment required. Premium only matters once you have multiple pets or hand off care regularly.
How does billing work?
Premium is billed through Apple’s App Store using your Apple ID, so it’s managed with the same payment method as your other subscriptions. Monthly is $4.99; yearly is $29.99 (about $2.50/month).
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes. You can change plans from your Apple ID subscription settings at any time. The change takes effect at your next renewal.
Does Premium sync across my iPhone and iPad?
Yes. Premium includes iCloud sync, so your pets, records, and packets stay current across your devices signed into the same Apple ID.
Is my data private?
PetPacket is local-first. Your records live on your device; with Premium they sync through your private iCloud, not our servers. Read more on the data we store page.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, from Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your iPhone. You keep Premium until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free tier. Your records stay with you.
What happens to my records if I cancel Premium?
Nothing is deleted. Your pet profiles, records, and past packets stay on your device. You drop back to the free limits (one pet, two packets) until you resubscribe.
Do you offer Family Sharing?
Premium supports standard Apple Family Sharing for subscriptions where eligible. Check the App Store listing for current Family Sharing support on your account.
